Description
North Manchester Women's Aid was formed in 1978 and is affiliated to the Women's Aid Federation England (WAFE). We provide temporary refuge accommodation, support, advice and advocacy to women and children experiencing domestic violence, and campaign for improved resources, awareness and understanding.
Activities
North Manchester Women's Aid provides the following services to abused women and children:

Refuge accommodation.

After care support to women and children who have been rehoused from the refuge.

Outreach support, advice and advocacy to women living in the North Manchester area.

Training and consultancy work with agencies who come into contact with abused women and children.
