Schwinn 270 Recumbent Exercise Bike Review

As a proud Brit the Olympics back in 2012 inspired me in so many ways. First I thought the running track may have been my calling. Two miles later I found out it wasn’t. Then I wanted to give rowing a go. It turns out that you probably need arm muscles to be good on the water. In my darkest and most sobering moment I then tried out cycling, and whilst I was never likely to win a gold medal in the sport I found myself enjoying it more and more and that is when I came across the Schwinn 270 recumbent exercise bike. I’ll be taking you through the ins and out of this very useful piece of fitness equipment, so listen up!
What are the feature it has?
Now this bike can only be used as a piece of training equipment or for fitness purposes and it is no substitute for the track, but it still has an awful lot of very useful features included with it. The dual track two LCD displays allow you to monitor up to 13 different displays, so you won’t miss out on any of your stats whilst cycling. The Scwinn 270 also has connect goal tracking with data export to keep you up to date on reaching your fitness goals. The features don’t end there either, as with 29 different programs and 4 user settings you can very easily track all of your goals at once. The 25 different levels of resistance mean you will also be able to adjust the challenge to reflect your level of training. So many features in something as simple as an exercise bike!
How much room will it take up?
You won’t have to worry about this bike taking up too much room in your workout space either. It only measures 13 x 67 x 27 inches so you can easily find space for it. This black exercise bike only weighs 101 pounds, so if you do desperately need to move it you can.
What are the positives?
About the only thing that is missing from the feature list of this bike is that it can drive a car. It has so many different little attributes that it will take you weeks to work them all out and then use them. This is the type of exercise bike which will be perfect if you are looking to tone up and get in shape!
What are the negatives?
The only negative comments that could be found about the Schwinn were that the customer service was not the best. As the bike works so well by itself, hopefully you will never have to worry about it! Conclude things for me
If, like me seeing the elite athletes in the Olympics and other events inspired you to get up and become more active then this bike is a brilliant place to start. It can help you get on the path to fitness and open a whole load of cycling related doors!
