Africa Volunteers is a non-governmental organization and non- profit making organization based in Kampala, Uganda, that organizes 3-8 weeks voluntary workcamps, for both Ugandan and International Volunteers. We build schools and community centres, plant trees in deforested areas, organize AIDS education campaigns, and more. The projects are a great opportunity to get a completely new experience, learn about African and Ugandan culture, and help poor communities at the same time.
